Killing Uncle Roman

ABOUT THE FILM

Killing Uncle Roman is a psycho-sexual thriller filmed in Paris and the French countryside. The independently produced feature is part of the Cinema Resistant movement which was announced at the Cannes Film Festival.

Based on a true story, Killing Uncle Roman focuses on the relationship and eventual downfall of two killers who become lovers. Photographed with the latest digital techniques, the live action is combined with several animation sequences used to enhance the back story of each character.

Our Producers, Michael and Marian Hofstein screened the initial rough cut with Kim Henkel, writer and producer of the “Texas Chain Saw Massacre.” Kim said, “The only thing that really bothers me about your movie is that you’ve made me like these two disgusting killers.”
